My dad gave me money when he died and I used some of it to buy a new HVAC system. I wanted to get a really good model so it would last me a long time and save me a lot of money on power bills. It cost me about $15k to get installed, along with a ten year maintenance plan, so now I should be all set for a long time to come. I need to buy a HEPA filter because the one in the unit is a washable HEPA filter and it takes a few hours to dry so a backup filter would be a good idea. I thought they told me that they gave me an extra filter but when I went to look for it I couldn’t find it. Maybe I’ll give the local business a call which installed and sold me the unit to see if they forgot to give me the extra washable HEPA filter. I think for the price I paid I shouldn’t have to spend more money on things for it. They are good people and the HVAC specialist that installed the HVAC system is a friend of mine from beach volleyball so I’m sure he won’t have a problem giving me another filter. I need to slow down on the spending though because out of the $100k I got from my dad two months ago I am already down to about $80k. I think buying the HVAC system was a good call though because it is going to save me a ton of money on heating and cooling.
