My partner has consistently been a good, unique guy, but he’s entirely creative, that is for sure. He is consistently coming out with all of these new crazy ideas, and the even crazier space is that occasionally they work. The most recent example of this was when the a/c in our vehicle stopped entirely working. This wasn’t entirely surprising for me because it was an old vehicle with over 100k miles on and it was slowly starting to fall apart, and we were doing a pretty great task keeping it running by replacing whatever needed fixing. When the air conditioner broke, rather than doing what most people would do when a problem like this arises, he told me he was going to DIY it, when he said this I thought he meant that he was going to try to service it himself instead of taking it to the auto service shop, and it wasn’t until he came running into the home the following day plus told me that he had it all fixed and to come and take a look that I realized I may have gotten more than what I bargained for. He was as happy as a little kid. When I went out to take a look our jaw dropped when I saw that he had duct taped a window a/c plan to the dashboard. He then showed me what happened when he turned it up to full blast. He turned the air conditioner on high and the thing blew a ton of chilly frigid air in my face. He then told me that we don’t need to get the air conditioner fixed because his custom air conditioner was an even better solution.
