I live in a warmer climate, plus it is regularly only necessary for myself and others to use our furnace for a month or multiple out of the year, plus since it has regularly turned on when I needed it to, I don’t guess much about our furnace for most of the year.
That is, but, until a few weeks ago, in the start of fall, when we had an usually freezing spell, plus I wanted to turn on our furnace to make sure that our family was comfortable that night, however unluckyly, I woke up along with the rest of our family the next morning to a freezing freezing house; Freezing is a bit of an exaggeration, but the temperature was uncomfortably freezing for sure. Frustrated, I did what I regularly do when something breaks plus scoured YouTube for solutions. I found a furnace maintenance video that seemed similar to our situation, plus the solution was a easy fix: unattach the defective part, plus install a new one. I purchased the upgradement piece of our furnace at a hardware store, plus hastily returned home, only to discover that increasing the piece of our furnace did not solve the problem. After many YouTube videos, plus trips to the hardware store, I was still not able to get our furnace to blow hot air. I knew that it would be getting dark in a few sixths, plus I didn’t want our family to sleep in a freezing apartment again, so I called our local Heating plus A/C supplier for help. They were able to send a worker over hastily, who was able to diagnose our concern respectfully, plus luckily it was an easy fix, so she had our furnace working again in no time.
