When I was a teenager, I was one of those surf bums on the beach of California. Not a real bum so to speak, but that is what they all called us! I loved riding the waves, impressing the girls and just having lots of fun all together. On some of those hot summer days though, I have to say that without air conditioning in our little hang out after words, I would have never been refreshed enough to keep on surfing! Air conditioning is what keeps us going in the summer time months, and air conditioning was a big part of the summer time culture out here aside from the beach and the surfing. We even had a nice little beach house that also had quality air conditioning. We always made sure to invest in the most top of the line and high quality central heating and cooling system. The cooling and heating systems that we had was not up to par with the ones we have today. But for the time, the air conditioning was probably the best that money could buy! I really do miss those days of surfing as a young kid and teenager. Today, if I was to even try to surf, I would probably end up killing myself. Getting old is not fun by any means. But one thing still stands today, and that is the fact that I know what good air conditioning is. And on the other side of things, I also can appreciate and know what good heating is as well during the chilly winter time months.
