Sometimes my friends absolutely drive me insane.
I called Jack when there was a problem with the AC in my truck.
The guy is a mechanic and I knew that he would be able to help me with this unique problem. The air conditioner had been out for a couple of days and I finally had a whole day to look at the problem. When I called Jack, he agreed to help if I paid him with a 12 pack of beer. I knew his time was valuable, so I agreed to buy him a 12-pack of Corona. The store didn’t actually have Corona, so I ended up getting a six pack of Bud Light and a six pack of Budweiser. Jack did not seem very happy with the choices when he saw the two six packs of beer. He still helped me with the air conditioner problem. The guy crawled under my truck and he looked at a couple of different things under the hood. When he was finished, he told me the diagnosis. I needed a new motor for the air conditioner fan. Fortunately, the pump wasn’t very expensive and Jack agreed to install the item if I wanted to buy the parts. He even offered to do the work on the same day, but only if I went to a different store and bought the right beer. The guy told me that the beer that I purchased was unappetizing and unappealing. I knew Jack was specific about his beers, but I didn’t think he would turn down any free beer.
