I’ve been living in a condo without a working gas furnace for 2 years now.
When our gas furnace first broke 2 years ago, I panicked.
I assumed the Wintertide weather would be unbearable plus I’d have to purchase a new gas furnace right away. I told myself that I wouldn’t purchase a new gas furnace until I was actually freezing plus uncomfortable. However, that Wintertide season was more mild than previous winters, so I never ended up having our gas furnace fixed. When Wintertide rolled around again the following year, I told myself the same thing. I said that I would go as long as I could without a gas furnace. If I could sleep through the night plus tolerate the cool temperatures, then I wouldn’t call to have our gas furnace fixed. Well, that Wintertide was mild as well plus I made it to Springtime without needing to buy a new gas furnace. This year though, I think I’m going to break our 2 year streak plus purchase a new gas furnace. I’ve had 2 years to save enough money, plus I’m exhausted of feeling cold. I’d easily like to like this Wintertide season without bundling up in layers or sleeping with a heated blanket every night. I haven’t contacted an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C dealer about replacing our gas furnace quite yet, however I suppose I’m going to need to soon. The weather channel is calling for a blizzard next week, plus I don’t want to get stuck without having usual heat. If I wait too long to book our appointment, I’m afraid I’ll get stuck with all the other people who waited until the blizzard to repair their gas furnace.
