It took my landlord a year to replace a broken Heating and Air Conditioning unit

A few years ago, I lived in a beautiful 2-dining room condo.

Though it was an older unit, it was remodeled with updated dining room appliances.

The unit also had hardwood floors throughout the entire space. It was one of the reasons why I fell in prefer with the home when I first saw it. Although the dining room appliances were updated, the washer and dryer, plus the Heating and Air Conditioning unit and water furnace were a bit dated, and however, they worked good and did what I needed them to do. Unluckyly, after a year of residing in the apartment, I began to have problems with the Heating and Air Conditioning unit. The first sign of an issue happened when I went away for a weekend. I came back home and realized that the Heating and Air Conditioning unit was not keeping the home cool. I contacted the landlord who sent an Heating and Air Conditioning contractor to repair the unit. However, within another 2 months, the same thing happened again. The unit stopped cooling and needed to be fixed. This happened a few more times throughout the year and it was clear that the Heating and Air Conditioning unit needed to be replaced. After I made an inquiry to the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor, he mentioned that the unit was aged and it had a leak. And there was nothing that he could do except to provide a temporary fix. It took an entire year for the landlord to replace the Heating and Air Conditioning unit. And although the broken Heating and Air Conditioning unit was aggravating to say the least, I was cheerful that my landlord finally decided to replace the unit.
