It took my apartment owner a year to upgrade a broken Heating & A/C unit

A few years ago, I lived in a beautiful 2-home office condo. Though it was an older unit, it was remodeled with upgraded entryway appliances. The unit also had hardwood floors throughout the entire space. It was one of the reasons why I fell in love with the condo when I first saw it. Although the entryway appliances were upgraded, the washer and dryer, plus the Heating & A/C unit and water boiler were a bit dated, however, they worked fine and did what I needed them to do, unluckyly, after a year of living in the apartment, I began to have problems with the Heating & A/C unit. The first sign of an issue happened when I went away for a weekend. I came back apartment and realized that the Heating & A/C unit was not keeping the condo cool. I contacted the apartment owner who sent an Heating & A/C worker to repair the unit. However, within another 2 months, the same thing happened again. The unit stopped cooling and needed to be fixed. This happened a few more times throughout the year and it was clear that the Heating & A/C unit needed to be upgraded. After I made an inquiry to the Heating & A/C worker, she mentioned that the unit was aged and it had a leak. And there was nothing that she could do except to supply a temporary fix. It took an entire year for the apartment owner to upgrade the Heating & A/C unit. And although the broken Heating & A/C unit was aggravating to say the least, I was thrilled that my apartment owner finally decided to upgrade the unit.
