I had to make a decision recently on purchasing a ductless mini split air conditioner or a window air conditioner.

I was hesitant to switch to a ductless mini split system from another window air conditioner because I had used window air conditioners all of my life and they had always provided excellent service for me. Now that I own one, I regret not sticking with my original plan to purchase a window air conditioner. Although the ductless mini split system is functional, I still prefer the window air conditioner. Simply put, I like how they work better than my brand-new air conditioning system. I’m still considering whether to keep it or return it in order to purchase the window air conditioning system I had originally wanted. There really isn’t anything wrong with the ductless mini split AC but I think just growing up and using the window AC system I’m so used to is a big change in me mentally. Maybe I’m just stuck in my old ways and I’ll never change my mindset on it but I’ll give it a little time.
