If you have a storm or a power surge or something like that where your electricity ends up going out, then make sure that you double check your control unit unit once the power is up and running again, sporadically power surges and electrical issues can cause your control unit to stop laboring correctly! Other times, it can mess up the pre programmed sorry close that you have your heating and cooling plan seven… This can end up being a crucial problem for people who just expect their control unit to go on running the way that it did previously.
I remember waking up in the middle of the night one night cold cold and wondering what was going on with our oil furnace. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with our oil furnace at all, but our control unit had not told the oil furnace to turn on.
