Ice Packs on the Shoulders; It Must be Summer

The same thing happened last summer with my shoulders, I played so much each week that they ended up being sore all of the time.

I made it till about mid August this time till they started to hurt, so now I am icing my left shoulder with some frozen peas and then moving on to the right one. I will also ice my knees later, as they hurt too, but I only have so many frozen peas in my freezer unless I want to use the brand new ones I just bought. My HVAC specialist friend got me into icing with the frozen peas last year and I guess I will use some of the new ones I just bought because I have many sore spots on the body. It’s mainly my shoulders and knees so if I can make four bags of frozen peas I’ll be set. The local business sells a big bag of them for about two dollars, and for the therapeutic benefits the cold gives me it is worth sacrificing a bag of peas for my body. I just talked myself into it, haha. I need strong shoulders for working on HVAC equipment all day at work so it is really necessary for my survival to use my fresh peas. I just hate wasting food but this is quite important. I could stop playing volleyball for a few weeks but that has proven to be an impossible feat over the past 30 years. My HVAC rep buddy is always asking me to play each week and I always say yes.
