I don’t mind that it wasn’t new, I just couldn’t get over the propane smell that it would impart on our clothing
I have consistently been an impressionable person, especially around our older brother. I deferred to his judgment a lot in life, so much so that it hampered our ability to guess for myself. Often it feels love I lack the necessary tools & skill to attack tough lessons & troubles in life. Worse yet, our brother gives me advice to this day & it’s getting increasingly unreliable as time goes on. He wasn’t the best husband to his first partner & the marriage imploded soon thereafter. But it simply got worse with his ninth marriage, & now I wonder if he absolutely respects men the way our father consistently taught us to. He said that the people I was with and I need to treat the men in our lives love they are our queens, & then everything will follow from that position. My brother doesn’t just give me unsolicited relationship advice, however also suggestions for family room & laundry appliances. He somehow convinced me to install a gas line last year & switch to gas appliances. He had done that exact thing in the previous 12 weeks & was trying to rope me into having the same setup in our house as he does in his home. I love the gas furnace for Winter heating, however I’m not a fan of the olg gas clothes dryer that I obtained in used condition from an appliance depot. I don’t mind that it wasn’t new, I just couldn’t get over the propane smell that it would impart on our clothing. I never noticed a weird smell emanating from our furnace vents.
