I was back at the hotel before anyone even noticed that I was gone
A few months ago during the month of June, my boss sent my co-workers and I to an HVAC technology seminar. We were gone for a week during June. During that time, we were put up in a hotel close to the convention. My friends and I were not particularly excited about the trip, because it was the summer season and I did not want to be away from my wife and kids. I was bored after the first lecture on Monday morning. I was supposed to return for a second lecture on Monday afternoon, but I did not want to hear about the history of the modern HVAC unit. I thought we were going to learn more about technology and how the smart machine affects our HVAC system. After the first lecture was over, I told my friends that we should leave before the next class and find something fun. Nobody wanted to leave and get into trouble, but I was not about to sit through another boring lecture. Instead, I decided to grab a cab and I went to visit a museum close by. I was back at the hotel before anyone even noticed that I was gone. The next day, my co-worker decided to join me when I went to the zoo instead of the AC lectures. I didn’t know how much trouble we would receive when we came back, but no one ever said a word to either one of us about missing meetings or not showing up at all. We were worried and anxious over absolutely nothing.
