The teacher nodded at me and said I was right. The air filter keeps the dust and debris from getting into the components of the Heating and Air Conditioning system. It helps keep the dust and debris from getting into the air all of us breathe. Without an air filter, the air would be dusty and that dirt would cause the components to grind and eventually break. Instead of laughing at me, they were all nodding at me. I l acquired a lot from my father. He wasn’t an Heating and Air Conditioning worker, however he taught me how to change the air filters when I was about ten.
