For the last three days, my wife had been bugging me about putting the air conditioning units in the windows.
I tried to tell her we wouldn’t need them yet, but she wasn’t listening to me.
Ever since April arrived, she has been nattering about getting the window air conditioning units in the windows. I understand we didn’t need to worry about window air conditioning units last year, but we do now. I couldn’t afford to pay the price for a new central air conditioning unit last year. We were going to need to have a new furnace installed this year. I thought we would bag the central HVAC system and get a ductless HVAC system this year. I had heard the mini split ductless HVAC system was more efficient and there would be no ductwork needed. That would eliminate a lot of the dust my wife was constantly complaining about. When she hit me up last night to have the window air conditioning units installed, I got upset. I told her if and when I put them in, it would be when I was ready. I didn’t tell her about the ductless HVAC system. I was tired of talking to her about it. She asked what she was supposed to do when it got too hot in the kitchen because of all the cooking she had to do. I walked over to the window and pushed it open. I told her she now had natural air conditioning and walked away. She wasn’t happy with me, but she realized she had pushed me to my limits and didn’t say another word about the air conditioning units.
