I know their feelings now

The entire village was awoken Last month by a deafening sound. About one in the afternoon there was a loud boom that basically shook the house. The two of us awoke to find that the power was out and our hubby grabbed the flashlight and headed downstairs to see what had happened, however when she looked outside she saw several of our neighbors sitting outside as well and pretty much everyone looked just as confused as every one of us did. If you block waiter every one of us can see the glow of some sort of a fire and hoped that pretty much everyone was okay.  Apparently one of the light poles have been struck by lightning and the transformer had exploded. The two of us were experiencing thunderstorms at the time but did not believe they were disappointing enough to cause such havoc. My hubby immediately went in and turned off the power that went to several of the appliances including the Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. She did not want a power surge to damage them once the repairs were made to the line, Many people don’t realize that this needs to be done to prevent troubles and it is pressing to remember that your appliances cannot take a horrifying jolt of electricity. Many of them installed with ground faults that prevent is from being a concern but to be on the safe side you are typically better to turn them off or cut the power to them while waiting for the electricity to come back on. The two of us ended up being separate from power for almost 24 hours and thankfully the weather conditions weren’t too warm or too cold. It was only the middle of May so every one of us weren’t dependent upon our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system to keep us comfortable anyway.
