I’m so proud of my heating and cooling system. I know that may sound weird to say when you’re talking about a machine but it’s true though, I’m very proud of my heating and AC system because despite its old age it’s doing an excellent job of keeping my house warm during the winter months and colder in the summer months. Both my heater and my AC system are old, and yet you wouldn’t know it by the way they function. This is why I have a big believer that older technology, and older things in general were built to last. Unfortunately things do not seem to be like that today, today things are made to ask for a certain amount of time and then they are made to break so that way you have to buy another one. It’s just another way for shady companies to get money. You can even see this with your smartphone. How many times have you updated your smartphone to find that it is slower than before? It used to be a conspiracy theory that these updates were deliberately done to slow your phone down but now this theory has become a fact. This is why when it comes to getting a new heating and AC system I don’t want to get a new one. I’m happy with the one I have and I hope my current one lasts for a long time. Because it’s made to last.
