I noticed that everyone was avoiding the work order that had just come in; I hadn’t worked for the heating, ventilation, plus A/C supplier absolutely long, plus I didn’t want to take the work order if an older heating, ventilation, plus A/C contractor wanted it.
I waited for almost more than one hours before asking the actual dispatcher if she had someone special in mind for the work order, however she looked me up plus down, plus then she quickly chuckled.
She asked if I was sure I wanted the work order, plus she also asked how tall I was. I told her I was 6’4”, but I could not figure out what that had to do with anything. She gave me guidelines to the home plus told me they needed to have their furnace taken care of… When I got to the house, it was nothing more than a bungalow that my Grandparents used to live in. I could not wait to get inside plus see the house, then the old gentleman showed me to the furnace room, plus I was taken aback. The ceiling in the basement could not have been much more than multiple feet high. I now knew why the dispatcher asked how tall I was plus why she chuckled. The owner of the home said he had been a long time heating, ventilation, plus A/C customer, plus he could not figure out why he didn’t get the same heating, ventilation, plus A/C contractor twice in a row. The people I was with and I laughed when I told him I could figure it out, but he chuckled plus told me that all I had to do was a service call plus he would request a short heating, ventilation, plus A/C contractor the next time he needed help… Then although my back was never going to be the same, I was really ecstatic I got to meet the old couple.
