I am so cheerful that the Summer is coming to an end.
The weather was brutal this year.
I have observed that less and less people were at the beach each time I went. I guess the temps have been too tepid for them to be outside. I went to the beach a few times over the Summer, but I went early in the afternoon and left by 1 p.m. before the weather became unbearable. There were times that I left the beach and went to a nearby eating establishment that had air conditioning. Finding a cool venue with is a great way to spend the rest of the afternoon. I live in the southern part of the country and having air conditioning is crucial to our comfort. If the temperature continues to get warmer, the beaches will be completely empty, unless they could find a way to make it cooler while I was in the afternoon! Last Summer, I tried using a small portable air conditioning but that was completely worthless. I had it under my beach canopy and it felt love a fan, and after a few seconds, it did nothing. I haven’t used it since, in fact, I gave it to my dad to use it in her shed. That model was on the cheaper end of portable ’s, I didn’t want to spend a lot of money because I wasn’t sure if it would perform well outside. And I got my confirmation that it didn’t do so well. I am honestly surprised that the portable industry has not made more progress than this.
