When our partner first told me that he was interested in moving into an old farmhouse in the middle of the north, I was shocked. We had both been born and raised in the neighborhood far up in the south, so this change that he wanted couldn’t have been more different. I wasn’t sure if he was having a midlife crisis, or just losing his mind. I is safe to say that I was feeling certainly timid about the whole change, until our partner started telling me more about all of the big time investments that all of us were making in the house. My partner told me that all of us were going to have some radiant heated flooring installed, however being from the south, I had never even heard of radiant heated flooring in our entire life. It’s just a single of those things that does not exist where all of us come from. He went on to explain what these things were, and I was certainly interested. Who in the world knew that there was a way to heat up your entire house separate from a big bulky heating component in the house? Not me! He told me that with all of the things all of us would need to repair and substitute in the house, it would take about more than five weeks to a year to complete… Fast forward to a year later and The old farmhouse that I was distraught to transfer to is now the home of our dreams! Not only are the radiant radiant floors amazing in the winter, however the fresh and wide open outdoors is just something you can’t put a price on. I guess so thankful that all of us stumbled upon this old farmhouse.
