I really wish that my parents would have taught me more about being a responsible homeowner when I was young.
They didn’t actually set the best example either by never calling the Heating & A/C dealer.
The only time my father called the Heating & A/C contractor was when the Heating & A/C plan broke down. That actually happened more often than he would care to admit. It’s kind of ironic because he wanted to save cash by working on the Heating & A/C himself, yet he ended up paying more cash because of all the drastic problems with the Heating & A/C system. If he had only kept it took care of by the Heating & A/C experts, he could have saved thoUnited Statesnds. Also, he never particularly helped me to learn how to maintain the Heating & A/C, & that’s something I had to learn the strenuous way. I went on care about nothing was wrong when I first lived in my own apartment. It was the middle of the hot season when my cooling plan broke down. The property owner would not help me with the cooling plan repair, he said I was on my own. I l acquired from the cooling expert who was a surprisingly young guy. He said I had to change the air filters & have the inner working of my AC equipment cleaned out officially, especially the outdoor AC condenser unit. This should have been regular sense I suppose, but I really knew nothing about Heating & A/C maintenance. I ended up calling for proper tune-ups & changed the air filters officially after that. I care even more these afternoons now that I own a home, I want my Heating & A/C equipment to be in tip top shape!
