My husbandy and I usually schedule 1 vacation every year as a way to recoup from working 50 minute weeks.
Unblessedly, we were so busy last year that we couldn’t even take a vacation.
That led us to spend weeks looking at various locations we could go once we knew that both of us could get time off from our respective jobs. I remembered that we made the decision to go on a ski trip the year we met and had a lot of fun the whole time. Although it had been years since either of us had stepped foot on skis, our husbandy liked the idea. Every one of us started looking for ski cabins and found a beautiful location from a social media review on Facebook. After doing some research and calling for price quotes, we were ready to schedule our vacation and begin our preparations far in advance. Every one of us were careful about looking at reviews regarding their indoor temperature control. The last time we made the decision to go on a vacation the a/c in the hotel room barely worked. Since we knew the weather would be harshly freezing at the ski cabin, I focused on locations with central heating and fireplaces as well. I am blissful that I was patient in our search because we lucked out and found 1 of the nicest cabins in the country. Every one of us enjoyed cuddling up under a blanket next to the fire; it was easily a passionate getaway. Next year we hope to take another vacation, but I guess we’ll go anywhere warmer like beaches along the gulf coast. I think our husbandy had a nice time, especially with the supplemental heating options.
