I asked for Mediterranean and got Traditional.

I don’t think who I am supposed to blame for the mix-up in furniture design for my home. I had been to the furniture store, looking at Mediterranean-style study room furniture, then i enjoyed the furniture, and the classic wood lines and color . Even as a child, I had always dreamed of having a Mediterranean-style study room. I was sure I had told the people at the furniture store what I was looking at, and I even pointed out some furniture that I saw and said I wanted something in that order. When I finally got my study room set, I thought it was traditional and not Mediterranean. I wasn’t glad with the furniture store and I went back to talk to them. I showed them pictures of my study room furniture and asked why they would send me this instead of the Mediterranean I had asked for. The person was friendly enough to show me pictures of both Mediterranean and Traditional study room sets. She said they both used natural wood and classic lines and had often been mistaken a single for the other. Unless you were a furniture professional, it would be easy to mistake Traditional for Mediterranean, and vice versa. I wasn’t a professional, and she admitted that neither was she. She was there to guide purchasers to odd things they were looking for. She asked if I didn’t enjoy my modern wood study room furniture, which I did. I thought it was stunning, but I still thought they had switched my Mediterranean study room furniture for Traditional, but I didn’t want to take it back.
