My girlfriend can’t stand the fact that I’m addicted to all kinds of video games.
Of course, she loves me for who I am but I probably spend more time on video games than I do with her, and that drives her nuts.
When she says she is going some place, I will often ask her if she can pick me up some snacks or drinks. She will sigh heavily and ask me what I want. One time I even asked her if she would get me a smart thermostat from the store and she just gave me a look and walked out the door. I didn’t have time to really think about if she was angry with me or not. She actually did come back to the house with a smart thermostat and I quickly had it installed and working great with my HVAC within 30 minutes. I’m pretty good with tech like that and that’s at least something she appreciates. I do a lot of the HVAC system maintenance and make sure to change the air filters and everything. Of course for all the major jobs I will be quick to hire an HVAC professional to take care of things. I have been told that I should think about getting enrolled in an HVAC system maintenance plan, but I’m not sure if that would be worth it or not for me since I take care of a lot of the maintenance on my own. Of course if I did go with something like that, I would have more time to play my video games and everything, so maybe I should call the HVAC company and tell them to sign me up!
