What makes it even worse, is that I live in the deep South, & during the Springtime & Summertime, the humidity & heat is entirely reckless! What makes it even worse, is that I live in the deep South, & during the Springtime & Summertime, the humidity & heat is entirely reckless! Unfortunately, in the middle of a single of the warmest Summer afternoons, I woke up in a chilly sweat, and i thought I was sick, or coming down with the flu until I jumped up to check our control unit. I was floored! It was 85 degrees in our house! I flipped the switch off & on a few times in a failed attempt at turning our air conditioner back on… As if things couldn’t get any worse, some dude crawled through the window I had opened to try to get some air flowing inside to improve the air quality; He tried to petrify me by asking where our cash was, however then realized how hot it was in our condo & said he couldn’t breathe & his asthma was starting to flare up. He then said he would leave me alone & loaned me $200 from the last condo he robbed, telling me to get our Heating & Air Conditioning fixed & handed me a card to contact the Heating & Air Conditioning contractor down the street. I thanked him, & the next afternoon, I called a completely bizarre Heating & Air Conditioning contractor & the Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman provided me a quote that was a lot less than I expected, so I was able to save those $200!
