I have long been a proponent of a scrub home. When things are clean, organized and orderly, life tends to flow a bit better. My family tends to get less sidetracked and is just more comfortable. But all these years when I thought we were keeping a actually scrub house, we were missing a vital component. Honestly, nobody ever told me that Heating and A/C air ducts have to be cleaned. But then again, I tend to sort of take the Heating and A/C stuff for granted. So I right away blamed all that on my husband. The chores like air filter change and Heating and A/C service are his purview. But honestly, neither of us knew anything when it came to the air ducts in our home. That resulted in me finally noticing some stuff falling from the Heating and A/C vents. It was a collection of dust material. But it was heavy enough to fall to the carpet. At first, I thought something was actually wrong with the Heating and A/C equipment. So I called the Heating and A/C company in a bit of a panic. They calmed me right down and told me that I merely needed to have air duct cleaning and air duct sealing done. They could set me up with a crew who only did that sort of thing. It was sort of absurd to see the amount of stuff that was coming out of the air duct. There were more than a couple of bags with air duct debris carried out. But the air duct sealing would help prevent this and increase the efficiency of our heating and cooling as well. Now our apartment is easily and completely clean.
