When it came down to it, I was willing to do whatever I needed to do when it came to the survival of my business.
While that didn’t exactly surprise me, I was surprised that I was willing to stay out on the road for more than three weeks straight that first summer time of the pandemic.
This was something that would have been unfathomable prior to Covid and being shut out of air travel. Even with the HEPA filters and the mask mandates, I just didn’t know at all comfortable about flying. It wouldn’t do my any great to save the business if I happened to be a single of those unlucky souls who ended up dying from Covid. And so, it was out on the road I went. My husband had to stay loft inside the central air conditioner of our loft alone with the pet that entire summer. Yet, he was a total trooper and couldn’t have been any more supportive than he was. This wasn’t a surprise. But I’ll tell you what was a surprise and that was finding consistent, great Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling while on the road. My automobile has fantastic air conditioner but I’m talking about lodging. Since I was out that entire time, I had to go with the budget occasion on my accommodations. So I stayed at the roadside hotels and motels. What I found there was really clean, comfortable rooms at a really sufficient price. Plus, those old college wall equipment cooling systems were on point. There wasn’t a single night where I wasn’t perfectly comfortable with the level of Heating, Ventilation plus A/C cooling in my room.
