Keeping the kids beach house from school that is not my idea of fun, when the school recommended all of us had to keep our children at beach house to keep them safe from the coronavirus, I started thinking about the several headaches I would have all afternoon listening to the kids argue and confrontation with each other.
The first couple of afternoons were not terrible, however the kids grew bored entirely quickly with nothing to do and no friends to play with.
I tried to keep the kids busy with activities and educational projects however it was hard to find a way to keep them busy all of the time. It was especially difficult when I had to complete household chores while trying to teach the kids from home. A few weeks ago I had all I could take in 1 afternoon. I had several loads of laundry to labor on and the dryer stopped working during the third load. I did not realize there was a problem with the dryer until I evaluated on the laundry and all of the clothes were soaking wet. I tried several odd dryer settings, however nothing helped the problem. I called my hubby at labor and he told me not to worry about the laundry. I tried not to stress out, however it was difficult when the third problem of the afternoon occurred. This time it was a much bigger issue in the house. The air conditioning stopped blowing freezing air and the temperature inside of the house started to get warmer and warmer. By the time my hubby got beach house from work, it was 85 degrees in the house. The dryer issue turned out to be an easy fix, however all of us had to call a professional service service to repair the problems with the AC.
