The two of us usually look forward to the time when it first snows during the Wintertide months… The two of us of course regularly make sure to be prepared for this time by getting our Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C plan tuned up and our fireplace prepared by a chimney sweep! I entirely couldn’t wait to use our fireplace for the first time, and we got a pretty big blizzard.
There was all kinds of blowing snow and it was pretty bad outside, but we felt nice and cozy with the perfect temperature control settings and the fire going in the fireplace.
The two of us were just fantastic there in front of the fireplace and we looked out the window while seeing all the snow falling down. I had to go out there a few times to shovel the snow because it was getting pretty deep. I was glad when the snow finally let up and then the next morning, we realized the snow was perfect to go sledding with the kids! So we bundled up the kids and got their sleds out and we went to a popular hill where a lot of people in our neighborhood love to go sledding. It was a easily fantastic experience, but it sure was nippy outside. It didn’t matter because we knew that it would be nice and toasty when we got back home; When we finally did get home, we cranked up the heating plan a little bit and started up the fire again in the fireplace. The two of us enjoyed some warm cocoa and talked about the nice fun we had while sledding down that big hill.
