Choosing the geo heat pump was spot on

The two of us are on the very cusp of Wintertide at this point of the year.

And know it or not, I’m kind of happy to see the hot and cold temperatures drop.

I am not exactly the sort of person that gets into a lot of outdoor activities no matter the season. But in the Wintertide I tend to stay inside the Heating and Air Conditioning heating almost all the time. There are things I savor about Wintertide but freezing isn’t1 of them. The lake house we have lived in for almost 25 years uses a gas heating system for Heating and Air Conditioning heating. That gas heating system was fine, it just was never honestly cozy in our house. I always had to wear a blazer or cover up with a blanket when I was sitting in our recliner. This will be the first Wintertide I don’t have to do that. The two of us upgraded the Heating and Air Conditioning equipment on our lake house to sell it and both of us made a bundle. My wife and I chose to build a much smaller lake house that is sustainable for just the two of us. The two of us also ended up choosing a geothermal heat pump for heating and cooling. Initially, the biggest reason both of us chose the go with the geo heat pump was for sustainability and efficiency. That’s because geothermal heat pumps use the earth’s almost constant temperature for energy when it comes to heating and cooling, and for sure it’s more overpriced up front than a traditional central air conditioner. But person is it going to save us cash over the long run as it’s about the most efficient you can buy. But the best thing is I am going to have radiant floor heating this Wintertide and it is the coziest, warmest Heating and Air Conditioning heating I’ve ever experienced.
