My mother’s house smells horrible.
I don’t even care about going over there.
She’s a chain smoker, plus has been my whole life, plus I think that I have my toil cut out for me getting the smell out of her house after she dies. The furniture, curtains plus carpet will have to go. And the locale will need a thorough cleaning, the walls, the ceiling plus even the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C ductwork. Will all of us need to upgrade the whole Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit? I will have to look into that. Anyways, all of us are planning a family celebration at Mom’s in a couple of weeks plus I do not want to spend the whole day in her smelly house, plus I’m sure nobody else does either. So, my fiance plus I bought a citrus scented air freshener that you clip onto your Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C filter. Both of us plan to sneak over to Mom’s next week plus slip it on her Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C filter. I’m grateful to have a key to her house. All week she will be wondering where that citrus smell is coming from, at least until she goes to change her Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C filter. I actually know it’s a funny trick to play on her. She will figure it out when she goes to change her Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C filter. She will see the air freshener clipped to it, mom will absolutely care about it plus start using them herself. The problem is, they only cover the smell, however I know that is better than nothing. And maybe her house will not smell so terrible when the family gets together
