It’s kind of funny the nicknames that people come with for their children… For some reason when our son was younger, both of us started calling him ‘Peanut.’ I’m not sure that he prefers being called that, but even to this afternoon, both of us refer to him as that name for the most part.
That is unless he is in deep trouble, then both of us call him buy his whole name, including the middle.
He has been staying out of trouble as well as getting great grades for the most part. The last time I had to ground him was when he was bouncing his basketball inside the house. I kept telling him to take it outside, but he kept complaining that it was too tepid outside; Man, both of us used to appreciate playing outside on a tepid summer’s afternoon when both of us were little ones. Also when both of us would come back inside, both of us could only wish the cooling system plan could be cranked up. The kids these afternoons are spoiled, but it’s our own fault if I’m being honest. Anyway, he didn’t listen when I told him to go outside as well as he ended up letting the ball fly into the temperature control. The temperature control crashed to the ground, smashed into pieces. The cooling plan wasn’t working after that, as well as I was annoyed. I was trying to work in my home office as well as without any cooling, I couldn’t focus on my work! I ended up having to go to the Heating and Air Conditioning business to pick up a modern temperature control, but I opted for a smart temperature control when the Heating and Air Conditioning expert helped me out. I had Peanut pay me back for the temperature control, but only half because he didn’t have to pay for the update to a smart temperature control.
