Aeroseal duct sealing is an effective process

I figured out that there was an issue with the HVAC duct when my heating & cooling bills increased steadily each week. I’d noticed that the oil furnace was having a strenuous time keeping up with demands & running for longer cycles throughout the winter. When the weather warmed up & I started the a/c, it also seemed to struggle. Adjusting the temperature control accomplished legitimately little. The condo still felt overheated, & there was a significant difference in temperature from a single room to the next. The cooling method wasn’t providing enough air to lower the temperature to a comfortable level. I also saw an increase in the amount of dust floating around & gathering on surfaces. I finally contacted an HVAC supplier that specializes in duct services. The supplier checked & diagnosed the method & found many small holes. These imperfections were allowing the heated/cooled air to leak out & drawing in outside air & contaminants. I uneasy that the duct sealing process would be messy & invasive. However, this certain supplier is certified in Aeroseal duct sealing. It is an innovative process that targets the problem from the inside. The supplier started by sealing off the supply & return vents. He then directed a steady stream of pressurized air into the ducts. The air is laced with adhesive polymer particles, & as it escapes through the many holes, the particles adhere to the edges & gradually build up to create an airnarrow seal. There was no unpleasant smell & the substance is completely safe. The whole process took a couple of hours, & then the supplier diagnosed the ducts to verify results. He provided a certificate for a ten-year warranty.
