It was a really tough couple of weeks here at our place, back when the heating and air conditioners seemed to get “corrupted” somehow. They both worked fine, but any time the heating or air conditioners ran, the beach house would fill up with this foul stench. It was like someone was shoving a dead critter in our face every time the air conditioner component kicked on, or whenever the oil furnace began burning. Thankfully, the corporation was able to dispatch 2 Heating as well as A/C service professionals to our house, and they claimed they could complete the ductwork cleaning within an hour. To our surprise, they were right! Not only that, but they pulled unreal amounts of debris and trash out of our ductwork. I couldn’t guess what was in there! For a while, I thought that the air conditioner had a dead critter inside of the air conditioner unit, but now I had confirmation that the ductwork was the carrier for dead things that smelled awful. I don’t think I’ll risk going years without having a ductwork cleaning performed again, because that was the nastiest thing I’ve seen in a while! Plus, the air quality in our beach house is so much better now.
