Haunted house; strange noises from the basement caused by the seasoned gas furnace

I prefer my task because I can labor from someplace in the world.

I am not limited to an office and a desk.

I am a writer and there is nothing I prefer more than creating stories and sharing them with people. Since I mostly labor from home, a neighbor of mine advised I house-sit for her and her partner. It was a relatively immense house that was 100 years seasoned with creaking floors! However, it was a attractive colonial home that was barely decorated as my neighbor was a minimalist. I started writing while laying at the dining room table. Since it was mid-Spring I switched on the indoor air cleaning method and hoped that my neighbor had changed the air conditioner filter. Though she had creaking floors, my neighbor had installed the radiant oil furnace and I was thrilled my toes felt sizzling against the floor, but using the climate control tool, I turned on the electric oil furnace and regulated the temperature, then no sooner had I started writing did I hear some strange noises coming from the basement. I was startled by the iphone ringing, it was the local heating business confirming their appointment with the a/c rep the following day, because of a broken-down oil heater; As I got back to my writing I heard a loud bang and almost peed my pants. After composing myself I decided to person up and check the basement. Turns out it was the gas furnace that had malfunctioned. It was an eventful evening and I thrilledly welcomed the day. The worker performed quality AC repair and the boiler repair, replacing the worn-out heating device. The worker knowing more about Heating plus Air Conditioning also redid the cooling install, and luckily, the next few afternoons at the house were uneventful though it was a laughable experience.
