I don’t need a lot in my life besides a few good friends and a comfortable place to live. I have both of them now so I must be doing something right. If I could only have my family close by then I would be totally set, but I guess you can’t have it all can you? I’ll be seeing my family in a few months though when I head back to the states in December for the holidays. I think I will stay there a month if I have enough money and I could even work for the local contractor back home to earn some spending money. I could make the trip for about $1000 if I am frugal about it. My friend owns a local business back home and sometimes has me work a few days a week to help out with the new HVAC equipment that arrives. Most of my HVAC tech friends in the business will be retiring in the next 10 years so maybe I will have more buddies to hang out with if I move home to the states in ten years. We could sit by the fire and tell stories about heat pump repairs and AC tune ups, sounds pretty exciting doesn’t it? I hope to get to see my parents a lot when I go back in December as it will have been six months without seeing them. Ok, back to cleaning my furnace filter.
