When my friends and I were graduating from high school everybody went in a different direction.
A lot of us went to four year universities to obtain expensive professional degrees. Some of us went to the local trade school to become skilled professionals in particular industries. And a few of us settled down to have kids without any aspirations for a higher career at all. I’m glad to say that I have kept in touch with all of my friends, no matter what walk of life they settled into. Unfortunately, my own venture into advanced educational degrees did not especially pay off… Which is why I’m very happy to still be in touch with the heating, cooling, and air quality control technician from the group. My buddy Mike went to heating and cooling repair school straight out of high school. He graduated with his heating and cooling certification within 18 months. He was immediately employed at a local heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership in the area and working as a professional HVAC technician. After that, he was making a lot of money on emergency heating and cooling repair services and various HVAC installations. Luckily, since we are still pals, my friend Mike is happy to help me out when I have air quality problems. He has supplied me with numerous pieces of discounted indoor air quality control equipment in the past several years. I am always very happy for his heating and cooling expertise, not to mention the super convenient price break I receive as a lifelong buddy.
