Plastic Screens and Ductless Mini Split System For Screened Porch

They always recommended the ductless mini split system with the plastic screen installment

The entire family was ecstatic when my grandmother decided to have her screened-in porch extended. Her old screened in porch was small, only fitting two chairs and a small table. We loved sitting outside without the bugs, but there was not enough room for the entire family to spend time on the porch together. The construction took months to extend the screened in porch, but when it was almost complete, I went over to help my grandmother put together new furniture for the space. As we were sitting on the porch assembling everything, we became really hot. The temperature outside was 86 degrees and the humidity was thick. I made a quick comment about the heat and my grandmother told me that she had plans to install a ductless mini split system along with plastic screens that could be pulled down over the original screens. The plastic screens would keep the heat or air coming from the ductless mini system inside the porch. We could heat or cool the entire screened porch while we were sitting outside. She’d already spoken to her HVAC professional about the efficiency and practicality of it and according to the HVAC professional, a lot of other homeowners who had screened in porches wanted extra warmth or air conditioning too. They always recommended the ductless mini split system with the plastic screen installment. I’m really glad that my grandmother decided to install the plastic curtains and the ductless mini split system because it will make our family time on the porch so much more comfortable.
