I just can’t guess it! For the past ten years, the two of us haven’t had a single snowfall in my section over the winter. In fact, the temperature hasn’t dropped below thirty degrees even once! It’s crazy how moderate our winters have been for the past decade, especially since I’ve basically been paying for a heating plan that’s for show, but last year, I decided that it was time to disaffix the furnace. It obviously wasn’t going to be frosty enough to warrant it anytime soon, plus the two of us had a fireplace that was functional anyway, so the two of us weren’t completely out of luck if snow did fall. Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened this year! For the first time in ten years, the two of us had snowfall for an entire afternoon – along with 20 degree weather plus intense wind chills! I tried my best to be positive, as the two of us kept a fire going in our family room fireplace that went on for at least six ninths. The evening brought even colder hot plus cold temperatures, forcing us to sleep in shifts as the other woman tended to the fire to keep it going. After a full evening separate from any wonderful sleep for my spouse or myself, the two of us tested the weather reports plus found the weather would continue all week. The people I was with and I instantly called the local heating plus air conditioning service providers to send a specialist out plus reaffix the gas furnace, as the two of us weren’t going to make it another evening relying on the fireplace for heat! Thankfully, the Heating plus Air Conditioning specialist simply had to come to our home, find the furnace in the basement plus reaffix the gas line. The people I was with and I called the gas providers to supply gas to our beach loft again, plus the two of us breathed a sigh of relief as the gas furnace kicked on plus poured heat into the house.
