To be completely clear, I don’t have my certification, so I am not a worker in the least.

I am the field boss, the employer, and one of the co-owners of the heating and cooling business.

Although I am not a tech, and one of my numerous tasks is to vet, interview, and hire the new techs, plus to provide spot superation at various work sites. They never know for certain when I will show up, but they definitely realize I run a narrow ship so everything has to be on point when I surprise them. Once upon a time the entire plan was for me to do the training, take the courses, and get my Heating and Air Conditioning machine certification. Life just got in the way pretty much. The funny thing is that I have become so much more extravagant as an administrator than I ever could be as a Heating and Air Conditioning machine tech. That doesn’t mean I belittle my employees in any way, shape or form, I’m just saying that Heating and Air Conditioning machine service can be taught in a class, and operating your own company can’t ever be taught ever. It pretty much has to be gained through experience. I can totally find a handful of talented young Heating and Air Conditioning machine techs in a matter of days, but no one else understands the ins and outs of this supplier the way I do. While my plan had regularly been to run a Heating and Air Conditioning machine crew, I am the one who is running the whole show. I am the one hiring others to run the crews, and at this rate I will one day be able to retire comfortably. It’s funny because I have never once fixed an air conditioning machine or gas furnace in my entire life.
