You know, occasionally I just can’t understand people. This lady that I go to church with had myself and others over to her current household for supper tonight. It was a nice gesture, and supper was entirely okay. She had beef stew and crusty bread and a nice white wine. She had nice tunes playing and the group of us even played cards once supper was over with and the table cleared away. Actually, everything would’ve been fantastic if she had only adjusted the temperature on her temperature control machine before supper! When I first arrived at her household, the indoor air conditions inside the family room were plain awful. It was so incredibly stuffy and warm in there, and it seemed as though it was warming up more and more every single minute. I was entirely hoping that it would start cooling off, but that didn’t seem to be happening at all. I didn’t want to be rude and ask her to turn the heating device off, but I thought that maybe she would notice that I was fanning myself because I was so overheated. I soon came to realize that this lady could not take a hint in the least. She even mentioned how she was sorry that it was so frosty in the household! I was resting there praying for some a/c to start blowing through the air conditioning vents, and here she was talking about turning the heating device up even more! I told her to please not turn the heating up any more. I was ready to go before dessert because it was just too boiling in there for me!
