When my wife and I went looking to purchase our first home, my wife said that we should get a more traditional type of home.
- She was raised with a fireplace in her home when she was growing up and she wanted to have something like that.
When we found this really lovely home with a couple of fireplaces, she was absolutely thrilled. I knew how bad she wanted the place and so we went for it. When we finally closed on the deal, we were so happy and we had big plans for this household. We would have family come over for the holidays with the fire crackling in the fireplace. We would also be able to relax regularly because there is a fireplace in the master bedroom as well. There is also a nice balcony that is connected to the master bedroom so we can always go out there to relax. I enjoy doing a little bit of star gazing, so I will be able to set up my telescope out there. On the chilly nights, it won’t even be so bad because I will make sure to have the fireplace going in the bedroom and then I can just step back inside and warm up next to the fire. This house is so perfect for us and I can’t believe we were able to get it. I think the best thing is how happy my wife is about it. You know what they say, “happy wife, happy life.” We can be happy together for the rest of our days resting in front of the fireplace.
