I will admit it, I am not a very wonderful landlord, then i have a rental beach home as well as I do certainly no work to it. Anytime a leaseholder calls me for help, I let them believe their rent is going up, and how I justify it is that if I call a HVAC supplier or a plumber for them, it will come from their rent… So if I need to schedule repair for them, I add more onto their bills. I also don’t appreciate going over to the rental property if they need help. I don’t check drains, clean windows or paint the rooms, and what you see is what you get. All my leaseholders are on the same page except for Jenna, then jenna calls me at least once a month for concerns. She wants a plumber, electrician or HVAC supplier just about every month. When I threaten to raise her rent she then drops it. Her newest thing was really a real issue that I did not realize since she cries wolf so often. She called me numerous times about bees in her ductworks. I figured it was just 1 bee. I told her get spray as well as be done with it. She kept calling as well as begging for an exterminator, and rather than call the pest guy I called a HVAC supplier as well as figured I would get duct cleaning anway, then the HVAC professional did not end up doing the job.
