I was actually happy when I left the North plus moved to the South.
- However I thought everything was going to be so much better because I wouldn’t have to deal with the constant cold plus brutal Winter season anymore.
I lived in a little beach house but soon realized that it was so incredibly hot that I certainly had to depend on the air conditioning all the time! Not only was it incredibly tepid but the humidity was certainly out of control! I learned from some current acquaintances that you need to have a dehumidifier plus a powerful air conditioning system to survived 10 months out of the year. It wasn’t long when my air conditioning completely broke down… That was brutal plus I even had to pay to get emergency HVAC repair because the HVAC companies were so busy. After a few months of dealing with the blazing heat of the South, I decided that I couldn’t take it any longer. I thought it was crazy but I decided to transfer right back up North where I was at least well acquainted with the weather patterns plus I knew how to handle things. Sure, it is cold up north, but it was so much easier for myself and others to deal with than the hellish South. I was able to get back into my old rental house because nobody was occupying it yet. I actually missed my old trusty HVAC system with the gas furnace. I rarely have to use the cooling system. I genuinely never wanted to go back to the South again.
