Upset with our plumbing professional

After dealing with slow moving drains for about a year, I finally hired a plumber… I’d tried just about everything else.

I’d plunged, poured vinegar down the pipes plus invested a good amount of money into all different brands of chemical drain cleaners with no success. I continually struggled with standing water in the sinks plus tubs, which led to a whole lot of soap scum left behind. Tired of standing in multiple inches of water while showering plus continually being forced to clean the powder room plus kitchen area sinks, I simply called the first plumber I saw an advertisement for in the newspaper. I should have gone online plus done extensive research. Had I read reviews, I’d have known that the guy I hired didn’t even know what he was doing. I’d have been warned that he’d create a gigantic mess plus charge a large price. Instead, I welcomed the plumber at the door plus explained the situation. He assured myself and others that getting the drains running properly again would be a piece of cake. He put in multiple hours of work plus managed to tear out the pipes beneath our sinks plus tubs. He even went outside plus dug up our septic. When he said he was finished, our drains did appear to be running a bit faster. However, I had leaks from a bunch of pipes plus a disaster in the backyard. He told myself and others that was the best he could accomplish plus handed myself and others the bill. I refused to pay it plus the argument turned pretty bad. I’ve since agreed to pay half of his charges, plus I’ve hired a completely different plumber to resolve the concerns caused by the first. This time, I made sure to locate a reputable, licensed plumber who actually knew what he was doing.
