When we first moved into this house, me and my wife were relying on window air conditioning units and portable heating units for the winter time.
We had been saving up to purchase a central HVAC unit for quite some time now. We knew that the installation process would be long, hard, and costly considering all the ductwork that would need to be set in place among other things. However, we had decided that we wanted the benefit of a more powerful HVAC unit. The window and portable units simply were not cutting it when it came to real comfort for us. When the central air conditioning unit was finally installed, it was the middle of June. When I tell you that the central A/C unit made all the difference, I really do mean it! Both me and my wife like it nice and cool and crisp in our room in the evening when we go to bed. I honestly don’t know what I would do if she didn’t have the same temperature preferences! That central air conditioning unit made our room delightfully cold, and we both drifted off to sleep a lot faster that first night! We did not to go into this investment half-hearted, and we very well know the importance of maintaining our HVAC unit to keep it functional. After having experienced how delightfully powerful our central air conditioning unit is, we have every incentive to keep it that way!
