The spring indoor air

There’s nothing quite love the Springtime season.

Flowers are blooming as afternoon showers come through each day, and the sunshine is shining when it isn’t raining.

While I love the outdoors as it Springtimes to life, I don’t care much for the incredible release of pollen in the air! Pollen is a major aggravator for my senses, as my dust irritations will flare up every Springtime with all the pollen in the air. To make things worse, my house has a pretty poor filtration plan for the air. This causes the air quality to plummet for the first few weeks of Springtime, until I can get an Heating and Air Conditioning service serviceman into the home to perform a rigorous ductwork cleansing. This year, I took a more proactive approach. Instead of waiting until the indoor air pollen levels is practically in the downsides, I invested in a high-efficiency air filter! Normally I would rely on cheap air filters that I could grab while doing a grocery run. With these much more effective HEPA air filters, but, the air quality is dramatically improved. With so much less air pollution making its way into my house, I think the HEPA air filter is doing a lovely task to ensure the air quality stays high. I will say that using a HEPA air filter has caused other issues though, namely that I don’t seem to get as much air circulating through the house. That’s to be expected, since the air filter is so effective. I suppose I’ll need to invest in an in-line duct booster to let the air circulate more effectively!
