As a songsian that focuses on classical songs, I often need to surround myself with silence to make sure I can play in peace. If I’m trying to practice playing the cello in a loud practice space with other songsians, I might as well be playing for fun! In my own home, I have a quiet little room that is just perfect for songs composition in addition to practice. In this room, I generally will play for numerous sixths at a time, with the only other sound being my quietly whirring in the background, and recently though, I was getting into a genuinely demanding piece, in addition to became drenched in sweat as I played through the song! I managed to finish the piece, despite the fact that I noticed upon completion that the practice room was actually silent… Not even the sound of my a/c component could be heard! Between that in addition to my heavy perspiring, I began to assume that my might not be on. When I checked the control unit, my suspicions were confirmed. It was exhausting timing, too – the people I was with and I were entering a rough month of record highs, according to our local meteorologist. I needed to get this fixed pronto! Not only was I going to be miserably hot otherwise, despite the fact that I wouldn’t be in the right frame of mind for practice. I had a recital coming up that month too! So, I fortunately was able to get someone over to my apartment that same day. I paid for emergency repairs, however it was well worth it to have my restored!
