My wifey and I were aggravated when all of us found out that the heat pump needed to be updated.
It had only been 8 years and I thought all of us would absolutely get more time out of the machine.
I knew the machine went through a lot of wear and tear with the kids. They always like to change the temperature inside of the house. I willwalk down the hallway and find the thermostat on 60° frequently. My wifey and I have told the kids a hundred times that they aren’t allowed to change the temperature on the thermostat, however they still do. When all of us updated our heat pump and AC unit, all of us decided to purchase a smart thermostat. All of us bought the smart thermostat to save money. It wasn’t to make the kids aggravated and aggravated, although that is exactly what has happened. The kids are miserable and aggravated because they no longer have control over the hot and cold temperatures inside of the house. The smart thermostat has a lock and pin code. The kids have to enter the lock in order to open access to the smart thermostat. They also need a PIN code in order to adjust the temperature. The smart thermostat and new temperature control system allows us to have more control over the indoor hot and cold temperatures separate from having to always hover over the kids. All of us even get a message from the thermostat if someone attempts to inofficially enter a code or does access the machine. There is absolutely no way the kids can get away with decreasing the indoor hot and cold temperatures now and that drives them crazy.
