The general contractor offered great prices on home repair services

My wife and I bought a new house a couple of months ago.

The house is almost seventy years old, but it still has a good foundation and lots of character.

My wife and I knew the house would require extensive repairs and renovations, but we were excited to restore the house to her former glory. The stairway had stained glass windows on every turn and the chandelier in the living room was from 1925. Since my wife and I didn’t know a lot about home repairs, we decided to consult with a couple of different contractors in the area. Luckily, the realtor gave us a couple of names of general maintenance services and handymen. We called a couple of guys that were local and we set up an appointment to talk with each person. The two of us fell in love with a woman that owns her own contracting business. She works on lots of different home services and general maintenance requests for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work. She also has a contractor license. Her resume was equally impressive.. My wife and I were particularly interested in the ideas that she had to make this place look like it did in the 1920s. We have been emailing back and forth with the general contractor for the last 3 weeks. We plan to start construction when the last of the snow melts outside. The best time to make home repairs is during the spring when the weather isn’t humid or hot. As soon as the snow melts, we will get started.
